ACUITYCFO HIRES EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE INDUSTRY ACCOUNTANT
MATT SMITH JOINS ACUITYCFO TEAM TO PROVIDE CONTROLLER LEVEL RESOURCE FOR TECHNOLOGY CLIENTS
ATLANTA, GA, June 27, 2005 — AcuityCFO, a trusted independent financial partner working within small and mid-market companies to create sustainable business benefits, has retained experienced accountant Matt Smith as controller. Mr. Smith brings seven years of experience handling accounting issues for companies in the software industry. His addition to the AcuityCFO team augments the company’s already strong and varied work in the technology sector.

Since his recent addition to the experienced AcuityCFO team, Mr. Smith has assisted clients including Retaligent Solutions, Inc, a leading supplier of sales-floor based clienteling solutions. He provides consult and services including establishing and managing best practice accounting controls and policies, assisting with accounting system conversions, developing reporting tools and analysis for executive management and Board of Director teams, and closing accounting records on an accurate and timely basis.
Prior to joining AcuityCFO, Mr. Smith was responsible for handling multifaceted accounting functions for iAnywhere Solutions Inc. / XcelleNet, Inc., a $40M software company with five international subsidiaries. While in this role, he assisted with due diligence efforts related to the iAnywhere Solutions acquisition of XcelleNet. Mr. Smith’s broad experience also includes financial management responsibilities for Helmac Products Corporation, PaySys International, Inc. and McKessonHBOC.
