D. Kenji Kuramoto, AcuityCFO
Partner & Co-Founder


Kenji is currently a Partner and Co-Founder of AcuityCFO, a professional services firm providing financial and accounting leadership to entrepreneurial and high-growth businesses. He is responsible for helping to establish the firm’s strategic direction and enabling company growth. He also is the firm’s quality review partner, ensuring that consistent firm methodologies and practices are utilized across engagements. He offers expert advice and counsel to CEOs and business owners seeking thought leadership in the financial operations of their business. He has acted as CFO for numerous companies, assisted in debt and equity raises, and facilitated client mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Prior to co-founding AcuityCFO, Kenji was the vice president of finance and administration for one of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation, where he directed the planning, reporting, analysis and execution of company financial processes. His experience also includes significant tenure with a Big Five accounting firm where he handled diverse business engagements, including coordinating domestic and international project teams, performing financial services, and assisting clients with due diligence.

Kenji is active in financial, business and community organizations throughout Atlanta, including the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Technology Executives Roundtable - CFO Forum, the Start-Up Council, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Wake Forest University Gift Club Leadership Council, The LEAD Institue, and Peachtree Presbyterian Church. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia and a graduate of Wake Forest University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
